The Octagon Reducer is a sound absorbing product designed to enhance the noise reducing characteristics of any type of acoustic screen.
When the Octagon is installed on a barrier, a relevant reduction in diffracted sound energy is gained in the shadow zone. This enables barrier heights in new installations to be lowered at the same time achieving the noise mitigation values obtainable with conventional barriers of at least 1m higher. Alternatively, the Octagon can be used to improve the performance of existing installations.
